    Massive jam for the whole afternoon! It's crazy. Jam until Kranji MRT.. Lorry driver see also scared until reverse at major junction before it's too late and stuck in the road leading to woodlands checkpoint.

    Forget about buying property there....

    This is the power of 2.6 exchange rate. More Singaporeans are going there to enjoy their weekend, and more Johoreans are coming to Singapore to work and spend on their families in Johor. This is equivalent to liquidity injection into Johor, but more powerful because it is localised.

    stuck in the JAM for hrs you call this enjoyment?? Or you need to drive in at 6am to avoid JAM? Its only a matter of time. where got so many ppl want to stay there??

    U can ask those who brave e jam. I'm still here in Singapore to TCSS with u. 2.6 is a big driving force.

    Even now there are still big jams at first n second links towards Johor. I think there are a lot of people staying in Johor n working in Singapore, or people going there for weekend leisure n shopping.

    Well, just to share with everyone with rgds to Iskandar Residences in Medini :

    1. It is best accessible from the 2nd link via Tuas. It is approx 15mins from 2nd link Tuas. Think about it....all the big things happening in Jurong now...the upcoming hotels, condos, office buildings & the Tuas megaport. The synergy that is going to happen together with the development in Iskandar in the near future. The big local players and developers like Peter Lim & Capitaland and Temasek having vested interests in Iskandar developments. The big China developers aggressively buying land for development in Iskandar. And not forgetting the future MRT and HSR (High Speed Rail). This is a GAME-CHANGER for the investment landscape as we know.

    2. Medini is heavily vested by Khazanah & Najib. There is even a joint venture with Temasek =>http://www.stproperty.sg/articles-pr...condo/a/121765

    Anything that is govt backed esp with 2 govts from 2 countries can't possibly go wrong.

    3. Lastly, on top of the strong currency exchange rate, for Iskandar Residences @ Medini, the financing terms are very attractive.

    - 7% + 3% rebate (SPA signed within 2 wks from receiving SPA)
    ie. 7% will be offset from 2nd 10% progressive payment ; 3% rebate upon TOP

    Iskandar is BIG

    Imho, puteri harbour/medini is NOT as good as danga bay.

    Maybe maybe even bukit indah is better than Medini
