    I thought the minister is clear as day. only the people in denial refuse to understand.

    HE said what he said, the cooling measures are here to stay for the near future until there is more price correction.

    what is so difficult about that?

    What is more important is to see what the government do, not what they government say. This is a government that runs this country like a business, not NGO or charitable organization.
    This is a government that strongly believe in value of home ownership. This is a government that is trained by LKY to maximize land value and returns of infrastructure investment.
    Never in Singapore history has Singapore government ever engineer a property crash and they will not do so now because

    a) investors will lose confident of Singapore
    b) Banking industry will be hit hard if property crash
    c) Land value of fall and so will be government revenue
    d) PAP will not bite the hands of those who voted for them

    It is not difficult if u dont have any property and now waiting to buy. : :-) it is also very clear!
