The token metrics for direct home doesn't make any sense. They are raising 30mil hardcap. Now which startups really needs 30mil for a decentralised real estate platform. I can't help but feel this will dump hard below ico price on exchange listing

It is not so far away that Libra or the likes for the next era of digital currency to buy properties online.

Negating the need for cheques, queues and even agents. Clamouring for the lucrative $6000 billion Market Cap of Banking.

Libra will be faced with many regulatory hurdles (https://www.straitstimes.com/busines...cryptocurrency)

Defi or decentralized finance is gradually taking shape (think of lending out your btc or eth similar to fixed deposit at 4-6% p.a interest rates). Banks have taken a huge chunk of our monies in fixed deposit and giving us crappy interest rates with long lockup
    A gd explanation on DeFi - https://www.binance.vision/glossary/defi

Korean, Line has also form a consortium to fight in an attempt to fight against Libra - https://www.coindesk.com/kakaos-klay...om-major-firms

Start with Virtual Banking first, let Grab/Razer/Singtel/Betterment/Wealthfront etc take a SMALL spike swap at local banks. Then block-chain their way to P2P and micro-loans beginning with Libra. Libra is a start once the shake-up to decentralise funding and loans take place. This will jazz up the economy and of course, the money laundering economy too. The implications of these can keep me up all night. Money floating in the virtual space where crowd funding and millions of loans can take place in minutes and seconds.

The traditional way of how we look at banks, funding and loans here in Singapore is finally over. This is the best development financial news we can have in 2019.

Can't wait to teach my kids about these developments, they will ask 'what is throwing of cheques to ballot property?"

There are more ways to make money and of course lose money too.
