The 348-unit condominium complex on Champions Way offers one-bedroom (plus study) apartments starting at S$988,000 or S$1,996 per square foot, and two-bedroom apartments starting at S$1.238 million (S$1,984 per square foot). Norwood Grand, which is situated in District 25, will have an early childhood development centre in addition to four blocks of eleven-story residential buildings.
In September 2023, the 14,432.5 square metre site was purchased for S$294.9 million, or S$904 per square foot per plot ratio, through a state tender.
"We are excited to preview Norwood Grand, the first luxury private residential launch in Woodlands in over 12 years," stated Sherman Kwek, group CEO of CDL. Woodlands, an area that is set to grow quickly, is becoming a vibrant centre with new infrastructure and great access to Johor Bahru and the city through a number of transport hubs.
The 99-year project is located two stops from the Woodlands North MRT station, which will have direct access to the future Rapid Transit System Link that provides a light rail shuttle service to Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and five minutes' walk from the Woodlands South MRT station.
In the first quarter of 2030, Norwood Grand is anticipated to receive its temporary occupation permit and will begin booking sales on October 19.
2014 saw the completion of Parc Rosewood, the last condo development in the neighbourhood. The 99-year project has 689 units, and during the past year, the development's median unit price was S$1,344 psf.
Although sales of new homes have been slow this year, the most recent new development, Bukit Sembawang's 8@BT, sold 83 units during its September launch weekend, or 53% of its 158 units, at an average selling price of S$2,719 per square foot.
UOL is anticipated to begin booking sales this weekend after launching a private preview of its Meyer Blue freehold project. The project's developer refused to reveal the project's cost.
