penalty deadline is 2 yrs from top or CSC, whichever is faster. It does seem a lot of units to move in a declining mkt, but the furthest they can push TOP to is 31 Dec 2015, which is not that far off either....
Capitaland does not seem to be rushing to sell interlace. So I think they wouldn't want to disrupt market and start price war. Good product will have buyers. But the quantum required for dleedon will put off some buyers.
By the way, where on Havelock is the new showflat located? I want to drop and see what the premium finishings are like. Strange that to date no one has posted images from it.

You will be impressed by the new showflat. Ultra luxurious feel... do doubt they are featuring premium units - hence more upclass furnishings.
last time, developers used to have actual units as showflats while the building is still under construction.
i remember going to showflats on the lower stories while the upper stories are still under construction.
have this practise been disallowed?

well, if dleedon still have 200 units unsold when TOP, developer probably will still have to make showflat inside the blocks itself.
instead of incurring extra cost, why not furnish some of lower floor units as showflats (when the project has not TOP)?

i would think it is a safety concern, and also how many people you expect to visit the showflat. imagine 200 people marching through your worksite and one got hurt. In today's litigous, social media friendly world, the fall out can be quite severe.
I am sure once TOP they will change the showflat to be on the actual site so that buyers can see the finished product

Did you guys noticed that the entire swimming pool area at D'Leedon will be facing HDB block No. 8?

that will be a possible turn off because when you live a private condo in D10, the last thing you want is to have a block of HDB flat over looking your pool.
Psychologically you will instantly feel the lack of privacy and exclusivity despite of having GCB view on the other side.

The cranes are not there already. So fast. I must say it is not very close to what Zaha has in mind. But you can't beat the location. Capland is promoting the Bishan projects because this one will sell regardless.
